About this coffee
Hacienda Potosí is the first of four farms operated by the highly regarded Café Granja La Esperanza. Potosí was established in 1945 by Blanca Ligia Correa and Juan Antonio Herrera, with two of their fourteen children becoming the central figures to transform the business into a leader in the speciality coffee world.
Sweet Valley is a blend of three varieties from Hacienda Potosí: Castillo, Caturra, and Colombia. Once picked, ripe coffee cherries are floated to isolate the densest and most flavourful fruits, followed by Brix readings to get a gauge of the sweetness levels in the cherries…
