What we store, what we never store, and the choices you control.
Who we are
Meet Your Coffee is a product of FORERANGER LTD, which is responsible for the personal data described on this page. FORERANGER LTD is registered in England and Wales, company number 10535686; registered office: Eastgate House, Dogflud Way, Farnham, Surrey, England, GU9 7UD. Questions about your data: [email protected].
What we never collect
Payment cards, full delivery addresses, or your orders with a roaster. The most precise location we ask for is the outward part of a postcode, and only when a roaster’s delivery rule needs it.
Essential functionality
Searching, filtering, comparing, saving on this device and leaving for a roaster use only an opaque session cookie and your explicit choices (destination, display currency, consent). No optional tracking is required.
Optional purposes, each separate
Measurement adds a pseudonymous session reference to aggregate counts. Tracked affiliate links let a roaster’s affiliate network attribute a purchase to us; otherwise we use a clean link. Personalisation from browsing lets viewed coffees influence suggestions. Email alerts are an unbundled account setting with an unsubscribe link in every message. We record the wording version of each choice and you can withdraw at any time in Settings.
Accounts
Accounts are optional and use verified email with one-time sign-in links. Saved coffees, follows, alerts, private notes and your taste profile are private to you and never shown publicly. You can export a machine-readable bundle or delete your account; deletion removes active personalisation and cancels queued marketing, and we tell you which records (if any) are retained for legal or accounting reasons.
Retention defaults
Identifiable diagnostic logs 30 days; pseudonymous click-level data 90 days; consented analytics 13 months; commission records per the accounting schedule. These are design defaults subject to review.
