Grown in the Batak region of Sumatra, Indonesia, at altitudes between 800 and 1,500 metres above sea level, this Grade 1 coffee benefits from fertile volcanic soil and traditional processing methods that create its distinctive depth and character.
Processed using Giling Basah , also known as wet-hulling, Sumatra Mandheling develops the dark colour, heavy body and earthy complexity that Indonesian coffees are known for. The beans are triple-picked to help ensure consistency and quality.
