Las Codornices is a very new coffee farm, purchased in 2010 by Lety Perez and her son-in-law, Hector Ovalle. This purchase was a risk, as the land is in an area where coffee is not usually grown. But against the odds, their coffee grew, and it is often very high quality due to the elevation.
