“Perfect coffee for autumn. This coffee is pure comfort. Expertly processed, solid, delicious washed coffee. What’s not to like?”
In the cup, you can expect a real treat. It’s the sweetness that impresses. Think molasses and dates. Deep, dark sugar. Still, this isn’t super syrupy coffee. The mouthfeel is very much in ‘medium’ territory and the coffee manages to come across clean and crisp.
There’s a really pleasant red berry acidity that gently adds another dimension to the coffee, and it’s especially apparent in espresso. Add milk, and you’re in sticky toffee pud, dark caramel territory…
